FOUR SEASONS VENISON MEATLOAF

What do I need?

  • 1 lb. Four Seasons ground venison
  • 1 cup cold venison stock (or other meat stock)
  • 1 cup onion, finely diced, sweated in butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika powder
  • ¼ tsp. chili powder
  • ¼ cup of instant mashed potato flakes
  • 1 handful parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp. thyme, chopped
  • ½ tsp. ground white pepper
  • Salt to taste

Method

Preheat oven to 320°F. Add the venison stock to the ground venison, mix well with all the remaining ingredients.

Place in a greased meatloaf tin and bake in the oven at 320°F. Cook for 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 140°F. Remove and rest.

Serve with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a brown gravy.
